Organic Logic – My face is happy

I’ve been meaning to tell you about this local skincare line that I’ve been trying out. It’s called Organic Logic and it’s curated here locally in Southlake, Texas.

The company was founded this year by two beautiful mompreneurs, Lyndsay Lord-Greer and Juanita Ensz, who were tired of designer skincare products that were full of harsh chemicals, mineral oil and unnatural fillers. So they decided to make their own and after the encouragement of friends and family who fell in love with them, they are now taking them to market. Their products are 100% pure organic ingredients. You will recognize everything that they’re made of, and – get this: they are reasonably priced. I know, WUT?!

They sent me three free samples to try: the sugar scrub, the overnight transforming treatment, and the foaming face wash.

Beast with Organic Logic

I’ll start with my favorite. I’m super pleased with the foaming face wash. It has the most lovely smell of chamomile tea which instantly soothes me, and calms my skin with it’s natural anti-irritant, anti inflammatory, and anti-microbial qualities. The foam is so soft, it’s like putting a cloud on your face, it is really that decadent. When you rinse the cleanser off, your face feels refreshed but not tight and dry. It’s just delightful and retailing at $12 for a bottle, it’s also quite the bargain. This will last you for weeks and weeks and weeks.

The overnight transforming treatment, I’ll be honest, I wasn’t so sure I’d like since I have combination skin. I was worried that this ultra viscous – almost gel like – facial serum might be too heavy for my pores. It’s full of coconut oil, avocado oil, olive oil, carrot seed oil, and more. You could literally eat it (I think). Surprisingly, it wasn’t the train wreck I was expecting. I didn’t get any breakouts or extra oil production, and my skin was super, super soft each morning. I don’t know how they did it, but this was pretty awesome too. Cost: $16.99.

Lastly, they sent me a tiny sample of the posh body polish even though I swore to them that I’m not a “scrub” girl but I can tell you this sugar scrub has a nice consistency, smells yummy and makes your skin soft. Will I reorder it? If I’m being honest, no, but not because it’s not a good product but truly because I’m too lazy to take an extra step to use it. If you like scrubs, you might want to check this one out too. Like all the products, it’s also made with 100% organic ingredients and for 8 oz, is only $16.00.

Hats off to the Southlake ladies! I hope you make it big!
