Stick with me

School has officially started and that means that we’ll be making lots of trips to the lost and found.

Labeling everything that the Princess takes to school is an unparalleled feat that happens each year.

Clothes, mittens, jackets, lunch box, backpack, school supplies, sandwich containers, soccer balls, basketball, hats…

Kiss them goodbye if they don’t have her name on them.

Thankfully this year we have a new evolved, more aesthetically appealing solution to the sharpie marker.

Kidecals are these weirdly sticky labels that literally stick to anything. You can even stick them on clothing — and wash it! And snack boxes, and wash it!

Even better, you can customize them to your hipster mom delight with sassy on-trend styles.

For my test drive, I issued the ultimate challenge: labeling the inside of the stretch cuff of knit mittens. We were going ice skating and I wanted to see how good these miracle labels were.

Four skating trips later and the six year old still had both mittens labeled. I call that a win.

Since we were headed to the UK during the last days of summer vacation, England has been on my mind. I figured why should the Cupcake get all the cool stuff? This set of keyboard Kidecals was the perfect desktop accessory to keep my fingertips focused on our last minute to-do’s.

They stick quite well, I can even still feel the bump guides on letters g and h. Here’s a link to dress up your keyboards (I’m also quite fond of the ombre look.)

Truth: I have idea how these work, but they do. And they come in a crazy number of cute cute cute customizable sizes and designs. Check it out here. They’re waterproof and would even be great on your potluck dishes. Seriously.

Would I buy these again? Yes. In fact, I am fairly confident that the stickers will stick longer than we’ll be able to keep track of those mittens.

This post was sponsored by Kidecals. They provided me with a free product to stick all over the place, and I did. All opinions are my own.
