WHAT: 2019 Holiday European Tea Room at the Alexander Mansion hosted by the Dallas Woman’s Forum
Capture the joy of the holidays with an afternoon tea at The Dallas Woman’s Forum. Enjoy the historic C.H. Alexander Mansion when it is transformed into a tearoom with elegant decorations, sweets and treats, tea and sparkling champagne. This event has become an annual tradition for many families! Catered by The Chocolate Angel. CLICK HERE to see the menu. Special meal substitutions are available only if requested at reservation. Call 214-823-4533 to leave your name, phone number and reservation date with your request. You will need to notify the wait staff at the Tea.
WHEN: Wed, Dec 4 – Sun, Dec 8; Wed, Dec 11 – Sun, Dec 15; Wed, Dec 18 – Sun, Dec 22, One seating each day at noon.
WHERE: Alexander Mansion, 4607 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX (free parking provided in lot behind house)

WHAT: The Science Behind Pixar Exhibition
Fans of the adored films – such as Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Cars, Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles – will get an exciting look into the process, science and engineering behind some of the most beloved animated films and their characters with The Science Behind Pixar. Get hands on with science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) concepts used by the artists and computer scientists who help bring Pixar’s award-winning films to the big screen.
With more than 50 interactive elements, the exhibition takes visitors through each step of the filmmaking process, giving an unparalleled view of the production pipeline and concepts used at Pixar every day. Participate in fun and engaging activities, listen to firsthand accounts from members of the studios’ production teams, and come face-to-face with re-creations of Pixar’s most beloved characters, from Buzz Lightyear, Dory, and Mike and Sulley, to Edna Mode and WALL•E!
The Science Behind Pixar is presented by Highland Capital Management. Pixar requires a surcharge for members and non-members.
